Remove multiple labels at once with bulk operations

Bulk Operations feature allows you to perform actions on multiple tasks or projects simultaneously, saving you time when managing tasks and projects in Marvin.


How to set up buttons for removing labels in bulk

To add the label removal buttons to your Bulk Operations:

  1. Click on the hamburger icon (☰) to open the main menu

  2. Click on Features/Strategies (or press "S" on your keyboard)

  3. Find and open "Bulk Operations"

  4. Click "Add" to add new bulk operation buttons

  5. Add these two buttons:
    ​

    • Remove labels - lets you choose which specific labels to remove from selected items

    • Remove all labels - removes all labels from selected items at once

How to Bulk Remove Labels from Tasks and Projects

Once you've set up the buttons, you can use them to remove labels from multiple items:

  1. Select the tasks or projects you want to modify (by holding Shift or Ctrl/Cmd while clicking)

  2. Choose one of the label removal options:

Remove Labels

  1. Click the "Remove Labels" button in the bulk operations menu

  2. A dialog will appear showing all labels

  3. Select which labels you want to remove

  4. Click "OK" to remove only those specific labels from all selected items

Remove All Labels

  1. Click the "Remove All Labels" button in the bulk operations menu

  2. All labels will be instantly removed from all selected items without further prompts
