Turning on the main category sections strategy automatically groups your daily list by main categories:
The main categories are the very top level categories where you sort everything else (subcategories, projects, tasks) into.
In the Master List they show below the Inbox:
If you do not have a task in your day view for a specific main category, the section won't be shown.
