Time targets are all about setting daily goals for yourself to meet.Β

For example, you might want to spend at least 90 minutes every day marketing your business, or perhaps ensure you spend at least 60 minutes on health-related tasks every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. With Monthly Time Targets, you can also set broader goals, such as dedicating 10 hours a month to a specific project.

Note: These strategies rely on the Time Tracking strategy to function. If you enable a Target strategy, Time Tracking will be enabled automatically.

How to Enable

Depending on which timeframe you want to track, you can enable one or all of the target strategies.

To enable them, go to: ☰ β†’ Features/Strategies β†’ Daily/Weekly/Monthly Time Targets

Setting up Targets

Once enabled, you can set up your goals directly in the strategy settings.

Targets can be set for any category or project and even per label ("add label target"). You can also set them up using Smart Lists by clicking on the "Add Smart List Target" button.

You can also set up different targets for the same category or label by just using multiple rows:

Changing or deleting targets

Targets can be deleted or changed anytime. To delete a target hover over the row and click the trash icon that appears on the right.

Targets in the day view

Your targets show up as progress bars each day like this:

As you track time on tasks the progress bar goes up.

Hiding and showing targets

If you do not see your targets in the Day View, they might be hidden.

  1. Hover your mouse over the far right side of the screen to reveal the sidebar menu.

  2. Click the Target Icon to toggle the visibility of your progress bars.
