This strategy is great for you when you want to have a lot of visual context and want to quickly identify tasks and projects from one or more smart lists based on text color.
In this strategy's settings you can connect smart lists, labels or categories to colors. The title of tasks and projects that match those criteria are shown in that color.
Example: Coloring tasks based on their duration estimate
In case you want to easily see how much time it takes to complete a task, using text color marker could be a solution. First, you'll have to create multiple Smart Lists that will select tasks based on their duration estimate. For this example, I've created three, short tasks, medium tasks, and long tasks.
Once you have smart lists, you can create markers by clicking on "Add Marker" which will create a new marker that you will connect to previously created smart list.
