While similar, there's a slight difference in how these two buttons work. Here are a few different scenarios with an explanation for how each of these two buttons would work in each scenario:
Scenario 1: Today is Monday and you have a task scheduled for last Saturday (two days ago):
In this case, when the task is scheduled in the past, both actions ("Schedule tomorrow" and "Push off one day") would work the same way, rescheduling the task for tomorrow, Tuesday
Scenario 2: You have a task that's scheduled for today, Monday:
In this case they'd both work the same way, rescheduling the task for tomorrow, Tuesday
Scenario 3: You have a task that's scheduled for this Wednesday:
- Schedule tomorrow action would reschedule the task for tomorrow, Tuesday
- Push off one day would reschedule it for Thursday, so one day after its schedule date
The main difference between these two actions is how they reschedule tasks that are scheduled in the future. If you were to repeat each action five times on the same task, when doing "Schedule tomorrow" the task would still end up being scheduled for tomorrow. On the other hand, after clicking "Push off one day" five times, the task would be scheduled for 5 days after its original schedule date.
