Some recurring tasks create their copies ahead of time, so you can see what is on your plate on future days. New recurring tasks only appear on their own day, unless you set Create occurrences to a number of days ahead.
But if you have a lot of recurring tasks in your week scheduler you might want to filter them out.
Create a Smart List with this advanced filter setting:
isRecurring scheduleDate tomorrow <= && isUnscheduled || isRecurring ! ||
And then apply that Smart List as a filter in your week view to filter out every recurring task that is scheduled in the future except today or tomorrow.
Another way: in the recurring task settings, set Create occurrences to 1 day ahead. Marvin then only creates that task for today and tomorrow. To change this for all recurring tasks, open the main menu, click Recurring, and use the settings button at the top.
