Paying for several missed pledges

If you've missed more than 20 pledges, you don't pay them all at once. One payment covers at most 20 missed pledges—the oldest ones first.

How payments work

Open More > Pledges. You'll see your balance and a Pay button that shows what this payment will charge.

The Pay button never shows a total that will take you past 20 pledges. So if you owe on 50 pledges, the first Pay might charge for pledges #1–20. Then you open Pledges again and press Pay again—that covers #21–40. And so on, until your balance is zero.

Each payment is separate, with its own receipt.

If you start paying but don't finish

Say you open Pledges and tap Pay, but close the app before the payment finishes. Nothing was charged. When you come back and open Pledges again, you can start over with Pay.

Automatic payments

If you've set up automatic payment (on the web), and you owe on more than 20 pledges, your card will be charged a few times within a few hours. Each charge covers up to 20 pledges and comes with its own receipt.

Card payments are small: they don't start until there's at least $0.50 to charge. Any smaller amounts wait for more to pile up before the next charge.

If your card declines

If your card declines during automatic payments, we stop trying that card and send you one email. You can pay the rest yourself using the Pay button on Pledges.
