Subtasks let you break a task into smaller steps: a checklist that belongs to that task. This feature is on by default.
Adding subtasks
Choose Add subtasks from a task's hover buttons or right-click menu, then type your steps. Check off each subtask as you finish it, and the task shows your progress.
Subtasks always stay connected to their task. They are not separate tasks in your lists. For a full guide, see All about subtasks in Marvin 101.
Showing or hiding completed subtasks
Click the arrow next to a task to expand or collapse its subtasks. Hold Alt while clicking the arrow to show or hide the completed ones.
Settings
Open the Features page, find Subtasks (Checklist) and open its settings.
Show completed subtasks in open tasks: completed subtasks stay visible instead of being hidden.
Put completed subtasks at the end: when completed subtasks are shown, they move below the open ones instead of staying in their original order.
Indicate subtask completion: tasks show how many of their subtasks are done.
Indicator style: choose how that progress looks: Pie, Count (2/5), Count + chevron, Percent (40%), Chevron, Progress bar or Dots.
